If you wish to report a lost or stolen debit card, please contact your Reliant banker during normal business hours. After business hours, please call 1-800-472-3272. Be sure to check your account transaction history and notify the bank immediately of any compromise. (back to top)
You should have received your debit card and temporary PIN separately in the mail. To activate your card, please call 1-800-862-0760. If you wish to change your PIN, you will need the special 9-digit reference code disclosed on the PIN mailer. You can change your PIN anytime with this reference code by calling 1-800-304-5127 or by visiting any Reliant Bank ATM. (back to top)
Your debit card may be declined due to insufficient funds. If you have sufficient funds in your account and your debit card has been declined, our debit card provider may have reason to put a temporary hold on your debit card due to suspicious activity. Due to an increase in suspicious activity regarding foreign debit card transactions, Reliant Bank is taking extra precautions to protect you. Currently, all foreign debit card transactions are blocked. We recommend you use an alternate form of payment such as a credit card or cash when conducting foreign purchases. Reliant Bank works with our debit card provider to minimize our customers’ fraud exposure. Our provider has a Fraud Management Team which monitors our customers’ accounts to assess any suspicious activity. From time to time you may receive a call regarding your account activity. This is a protective measure in order to verify transactions on your account. The Fraud Management Team will never ask you for your account number, debit card number or PIN. If you are contacted by the Fraud Management Team and still have questions about your account, please contact your Reliant Banker for assistance.
Reliant advises all customers to be aware of suspicious emails which could be a potential phishing scam. Typically the scammer posing as a financial institution or representative claims there is are fraudulent transactions on your account and requests you to call a phone number or visit a website. Do not click on any associated links from the email or respond with any sensitive information. Should you receive any emails of this nature, contact your Reliant Bank branch immediately.
