Schools in Williamson County

At Reliant, we show our support of the community not only through our great service - we show it with our time and resources as well. We are specifically committed to children, education, and the arts.

Children and Education

Reliant sponsors and supports "First Independence Bank" at Independence High School in Thompson's Station, TN. The bank is run entirely by students, and offers savings accounts and lunch money loans for students. This has been an incredible learning experience for the students. Reliant has also participated in sponsoring the Independence High School Marching Band.

Reliant has sponsored the Page High School Band and Newspaper in Franklin, TN, as well as the Dance Team at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, TN.

Reliant Bank has partnered with the Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts of America on the "2007 Mayor For A Day" project. The scouts went through a nomination and campaigning process, then filled out ballots to elect a "mayor".  It was a great event Reliant Bank was proud to sponsor.

The Community

Building Lives is a non profit whose mission is to provide the necessary resources that an individual needs to successfully change their lifestyle and reach their new goals.  Their primary focus is to assist former miltary men and women who have given so much of themselves to preserve our freedom.  Reliant Bank president and CEO, DeVan Ard, serves on the Board of Directors.

Reliant Bank is a proud supporter of the Brentwood Family YMCA.  This year, Reliant Bank was the Premier Event Sponsor for the YMCA's Healthy Kids Day.  Hundreds of families attended the event to learn more about healthy eating habits, exercise routines and ways to incorporate healthy choices into everyday life.

Employees of Reliant Bank understand the importance of giving back.  That's why the Bank invited the American Red Cross to come out for a Blood Drive in April.  Over 20 employees signed up to give the gift of life!

Reliant Bank is also a supporter of the American Heart Association.  The bank celebrated healty hearts by inviting the public to attend an event February 15, 2008 where guests received free health screenings, learned more about fitness programs and nutrition.

Reliant Bank is a proud supporter of the United Way of Williamson County.  Each year, employees participate in various events during the United Way Campaign.  2007 was an incredible year as the bank surpassed their donation goal and improved over 100% for 2006.  Employees participated in a Day of Caring where teams went out in the community to serve United Way agencies.

Sporting Teams

The Bank is a proud supporter of the local Williamson County Soccer Association.  You may have seen some future soccer pros sporting the Reliant Bank jersey.

Reliant Bank is proud to sponsor our local cycling team, the Reliant Harpeth Cycling Team.  Our team has repeatedly placed well in races across the country, and is composed of outstanding citizens in our community.  You've probably seen them riding around town with our logo on their jerseys!
